Shady Dealers are special NPC vendors appearing in Chicken Invaders Universe. Although the United Hero Force tries to crack down on them, they manage to evade them by staying on the move.
Behavior[]
Shady Dealers reside in a star system for 4 hours, after which they fly away to a different one. If you're in the same star system as them, you can approach them and buy wares from their store.
Items offered[]
Shady Dealers can sell any of the items available in the Galactic Store, however they usually only have between 1 and 15 random ones in stock at a time. Sometimes, they may even have nothing available in stock. There is a chance for them to sell the Red Herring cuisine, which cannot appear anywhere else. Items sold by Shady Dealers are at a 45% discount, beating any other Regional Stores. Some of their items can also be Uncommon, Rare, or even Legendary. The items they supply change every day.
It's also possible to sell the items they offer, however as they don't give refunds, you will get only 2.5% the value of the item, so even the most valuable items are only going to give less than 100 keys.
Locating[]
As Shady Dealers change their location often, and since they're allowed to go to any normal star system in the galaxy, finding them can be somewhat difficult. There are currently 50 Shady Dealers to be found in the galaxy.
The important thing here is that they show up as gray dots on the galaxy map. All you have to do is enable player locations while disabling the other options (as on the picture), and zoom out to see where the gray dots are. It's better to zoom in first to see if they aren't other NPCs. They're the easiest to see while they're travelling to another star system, as they will show up as a moving dot.
